Kessel Named Tournament's Top Forward

Phil Kessel was selected by the directorate as the top forward in the 2014 Olympic men’s ice hockey tournament.

Kessel was also voted to the media all-star team. He was the only American player honored in both categories.

Kessel finished the tournament with five goals and three assists, to lead all forwards in the tournament. His five goals tied for the most scored by any player in the tournament.
