WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tryouts for the 2014 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team begin tomorrow (July 19) at Northtown Center at Amherst in suburban Buffalo, N.Y.
Sixty-five players will be competing for 17 roster spots over the two-day tryout camp. The players will be split into four teams and play two scrimmages per day. Full Camp Roster
Among the competitors are 17 players from the 2012-13 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team that earned the silver medal at the 2013 International Paralympic Committee Sledge Hockey World Championship.
Another 13 players skated for the 2012-13 U.S. National Developmental Sled Hockey Team, which is a squad that trains with Team USA on a regular basis.
The final roster for the 2014 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team will be announced on Wednesday (July 24) at 11:00 a.m. ET on usahockey.com.
